Gareth Williams
Gareth is an experienced TMT consultant based in Fide Partners’ London office and has over 20 years’ experience as a research analyst/senior consultant. He has worked on projects from printed circuit boards to satellites and many other technologies, infrastructure, products and use cases. He has extensive experience in executing commercial and technical due diligence projects, both buy and sell-side, including FTTH, data centres and cloud service providers. These projects have spanned many countries in Europe, from Portugal in the far southwest, to Greece to the southeast and Estonia to the northeast and many in-between. Within these projects he has also been involved in assisting clients in post transaction support, helping to develop best practice approaches to network builds, sales and operations.
In prior roles, Gareth has negotiated MVNO agreements, written white papers on smart cities, assisted companies develop their go-to-market strategy in IoT, fixed-mobile convergence and enterprise solutions as well as advising regulators on their approach to setting fixed broadband obligations on operators.
Gareth has a BSc. In Physics from the University of Manchester, is a keen cyclist, owns some shares in Tranmere Rovers (his hometown club) and spent a year teaching English in Siberia a long time ago.
