Tom Allegaert
Tom is a founding partner of Fide Partners and Managing Director of the firm’s operations in the Americas. He spends his time between Madrid, Mexico City and Bogota.
Tom has over 17 years of experience in the TMT sector, supporting clients in both the private and public markets. His esteemed career has led him to work across four continents, advising CEOs and board level directors of telecom operators, investment funds and regulators.
Tom’s areas of expertise include corporate strategy and expansion support, mergers and acquisitions, strategic assignments, financial management, and regulatory review and implementation. Having worked alongside numerous global and regional operators, he is now focused on aiding existing TMT players expand into new markets. Tom’s objective it to assist these operators in leveraging their current assets and positionings by providing strategic and financial advice.
Prior to founding Fide Partners, Tom was a Senior Manager at Delta Partners where he helped launch the company’s Bogota office. Prior to this, he was a Manager at Analysys Mason in Madrid. Tom holds an MSc degree in Applied Economics from the University of Leuven in Belgium and a Postgraduate Master from EM Lyon, France. He is fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish and French.
