Strategic and regulatory support for over 8 years to a North American multinational media corporation and integrated telecommunications provider

Scope of work

Our client has sought advice to contest reference offers, navigate accounting separation requirements, challenge the regulator’s rejection of M&A operations, review of regulatory cost models, and respond to many regulatory hurdles and changes.

Over the last 8 years, we have supported our client in a wide variety of projects, ranging from the review of incumbent’s Reference Offers (LLU, VULA, leased lines, fixed/mobile/broadcasting passive infrastructure sharing, national roaming, MVNO, fixed and mobile interconnection, etc.), review of regulatory cost models associated with the Reference Offers, accounting separation exercises, support during public consultations on relevant markets and significant market power, definition of remedies for non-competitive markets, ex-ante/ex-post regulatory exercises, pricing replicability testing, definition of quality of service metrics, profitability analysis of SLOs companies of the holding, unbundling of channel packages, support in public consultations on network neutrality and converging regulatory frameworks, etc.

As a result, we have worked with them for over 8 years supporting them in all aspects of their operations, from regulatory requirements, business transformation, transaction support, expert witness and strategic projects to help them maintain their leadership position in the markets where they operate.
